Gnat/midge attracted to red trillium flowers

Gnat/midge attracted to red trillium flowers
Pelham, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA

Moved from "Nematocera" (Non-Brachycera).
I was wondering if it might be a gall midge.

Not sure
It has too many ocelli and too few antennomeres to be a biting midge. Probably Sciaroidea.
