Size: 2/3rd inch
This bug was in the Chiricahua Mountains near the Mexican border. Some type of plant bug.

will try to bring it to species
tech. note: to facilitate identification, size should be measured in mm (over the last ~150 years scientific entomological literature worldwide uses this unit only)

Yes, I'm bad about that.
I never dealt with metric measurements growing up and that habit has stuck. Plus it's easier to round off when I don't remember the exact mm!
