Mud Pots - Eumenes

Mud Pots - Eumenes
Shamong, NJ, Atsion Lake/Wharton State Forest/Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
May 3, 2011
Size: each about 1/2 inch long
I assume these were made by a mud wasp - anyone know what kind of wasp?

Moved from Eumenes.

Apparently there's an introduced(?) species in Florida that does this, but otherwise it's safe to call them Eumenes.

Eumenes, I presume.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think anything else in your area makes pots like this.
