fishing spider???

fishing spider???
Umatilla, Lake County, Florida, USA
May 7, 2011
Size: 1 inch
Looks a little like a fishing spider, if I shine a flashlight into the field at night next to the lake there are thousands of them with their eyes reflecting back. What the heck has he/she got on their back....eggs ,parasites?

Exactly what Ken said.

Wolf spider mothers are the only spiders to carry their hatched young on their back until they're old enough to venture off on their own. Wolf spiders also have reflective eyes as you mentioned.

Momma Wolf Spider...
...with her babies on her back. :)
