It was in the middle of preening itself so it's abdomen was out of focus unfortunately but hopefully this is good enough for an ID ?
And WHAT does it prey upon ?

Ichneumon.
I wouldn't even hazard a guess as to subfamily, much less genus or species. Ichneumons are extremely diverse, and cannot usually be identified from images alone:-( Nice shot, though:-)
