I know this fellow only as a "Mayfly". Can anybody get a little more specific?

It is of family Ephemeridae, genus Hexagenia. You have two Hexagenia species in Texas, H. bilineata and H. limbata. This female subimago is most likely Hexagenia limbata.

Because I saw this insect in “National Audubon Society Field guide to Insects and spiders”.
