found this moth twirling around what seemed a fixed point on a leaf.

2255 – Holophysis emblemella. You can see at MPG. No species page on BugGuide yet. I'll send this to Bob Patterson for confirmation and addition to MPG plates, and create BG page if warrented. Very nice!

it practically never stopped moving and most of the photos came out blurry or not in focus, so was lucky to get this shot. it soon flew away.
