Orange Dragonfly. - Brachymesia gravida

Orange Dragonfly. - Brachymesia gravida
Parkland, Broward County, Florida, USA
May 10, 2011
Size: Roughly 3.5 inches
This was a rather calm dragonfly who let me stay very close to it. It was located on a lake with several other varieties of dragonflies and moths. It appeared to have some spider webs stuck to its wing, which might explain some its calm (perhaps tired) demeanor.
