black aphid? - Myzus cerasi

black aphid? - Myzus cerasi
Merrimack, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 30, 2011
I saw this black aphid(?) on a small tree. There were a few others on the same tree too. I have never seen a black aphid before. I included a picture of the tree, which I think is an offshoot of a much larger tree near it. I have a photo of that tree too if needed. I would like to know what it is.

Black aphid
That is a black aphid, with a couple brown aphids which are probably younger ones of the same species.
