why???????????????cant i find this moth..it IS a moth isnt it?

yes Mesoleuca gratulata
And they do fly during the day time for a short period. They have already had their day here. I figure they emerge just prior to the swallows return when the early fruit trees are in bloom. Take a look at the variation on BG with the specimens posted.
