Size: 5.5mm
This was at the waters edge of the Connecticut River, ran fast, and would fly off very quickly.

I didn't realize how many species of Bembidion look so much alike. B. carinula is listed in the UNH data base, so it does occur here.

Have keyed it
using this
reference
and can tell, that it is not punctatostriatus. Not sure, which species, though (B.carinula seems most likely).
