Asilidae, possibly Stenopogon - Stenopogon engelhardti

Size: BL about 21 mm
We saw this robber fly in Culp Valley, elevatiion about 3200'. It looks like the Stenopogon rufibarbis female # 257216 but with a different terminal segment. Another photo we took of another fly at the same time and place had a similar terminal segment, but it was more red. Any help with this handsome fly will be much appreciated.
