Large-winged Barklouse - Ectopsocopsis cryptomeriae - Male
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
May 12, 2011
Size: 1-2mm
I found while sifting through leaf litter. Perhaps a female leaf litter barklouse, Hemipsocus chloroticus?

This one is ....
This is Ectopsocopsis cryptomeriae. This male has the frame like structure on the dorsal surface of the abdomen that is the key to the ID. This is a very small psocid and you got a remarkably good shot! I'm impressed.

Why, Thank You
Hand-held, over a sheet laying on the ground, I might add :)
