Trox - female

Trox - Female
Hancock County, Indiana, USA
May 12, 2011
Size: 5.5 mm
Found at UV light. Either T. spinulosus or T. foveicollis.

Moved from Trox foveicollis.

Females of these two species are almost impossible to separate. I suspect T. spinulosus based on a couple relative characters but cannot be certain.

Moved tenatively
Moved from Hide Beetles. Male captured the same night is T. foveicollis.

planning to add the male?

will be adding soon
