Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010) included two species of the genus Palthis in America north of Mexico.(1)
Wingspan 20-26 mm.
The lack of the dark patch on the outer margin of FW near apex, and the strongly curved dark median band that doesn't touch the AM line excludes asopialis (dark median band often borders AM line in asopialis).
