I just found what I think is an early instar forester, only 1/4" or so. I'll paost photos soon

All dressed up!
What a neat-looking caterpillar--looks like it's all dressed up and ready to party! I hope we have these in Utah. Seeing photos like this makes me want to get out and hunt for caterpillars.

I've seen a few adults as well. I chased them all around, but they wouldn't land long enough for me to get a shot!
