Braconid, Macrocentrus? - Female
Oak Ridge, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA
May 18, 2011
Size: 1/2 in + antennae
Bob, This is the best I can do. I hope it is sufficient.
The file is a little longer than 560 pixels, but it is narrow.
I hesitate to put larger files on BG because of the rules.
Next time I'll think more about the wing venation.

Rhombic areolet confirms Mesochorinae. The species Astiphromma pectorale is colored like this, except that the hind femur isn't dark per Dasch's description or per the fairly long series I have from Michigan. Perhaps there will be a match in the National Collection.

Moved from ID Request.

Thank, Bob.
