ID for a Florida panhandle duskywing? - Erynnis horatius

ID for a Florida panhandle duskywing? - Erynnis horatius
Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, USA
May 17, 2011
I saw several of these duskywings along a cross-county trail in the Baars-Firestone Wildlife Sanctuary at the University of West Florida. I think it might be a female Horace's Duskywing, Erynnis horatius, but Duskywings can be difficult to tell apart. Whatever species it is, this post will help document its distribution, as no Erynnis sp. are currently posted on BugGuide for the Florida panhandle.
