tiny corylophid - Orthoperus scutellaris

tiny corylophid - Orthoperus scutellaris
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
May 5, 2006
Size: 1.1 mm
This is a horrid image, I know, but it is my runner-up for "smallest beetle in flight" :-) My record is of another corylophid 1mm long taken Oct. 6 of last year.
