Moved from Honey Wasps. Wing pigmentation is best visible in photo #3, but all show some orange tint to the forewings. The allied B. azteca has noticeably clearer wings (no such orange tint) and shouldn't occur nearly this far north (reaching about to Sinaloa /southern Sonora and Chihuanhua in the west and barely into Zacatecas centrally).
