Could they be Gray Hairstreak (Strymon melinus)?
Or am I way off base?

Looks like it has legs, so we would suggest lepidoptera
and would point out that many Pterophoridae - Plume Moths -- look like this, but.....

 
or a moth
Well, I didn't think it was a moth larva. Eric LaGasa has it, and hopefully can rear it.
