Pyrochroidae, I suspect
Maybe something in/near Dendroides?

Let's see what the experts have to say.

Pyrochroidae for sure.
I think you need some different ventral views to ID it further.

The only match I can find
is Dendroides canadensis.

I just wanted to make sure.
I grabbed my key of larval Pyrochroidae in North America. The difference between Dendroides canadensis and Dendroides ephemeroides is the parabasal ridge on abdominal segment 8. Its not so easy to see at this angle with the specimen pictured above, but in D. canadensis its "inconspicuous and discontinuous" and in D. ephemeroides its "conspicuous and continuous". So its just if that one abdominal segment that is larger than all the others has a ridge or not. So I think this is D. canadensis, and that is the most commonly found species.

D. canadensis: D. ephemeroides:

Definitely canadensis
By looking at the larvae I collected, and knowing that I have olny seen adults of D. canadensis in the area this was found.

Well its settled then!
:)
