Dragon - Erpetogomphus designatus

Dragon - Erpetogomphus designatus
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
May 22, 2011
Delighted to find this (very briefly) in my garden and thought it was going to be a Sulphur-tipped Clubtail which I have found in my area in May before. But now I'm not sure--the coloring on the last few abdominal segments and the brown on the wings has me second-guessing.

Moved from Dragonflies.

Erpetogomphus designatus (female)
