Carpet Beetle - Attagenus brunneus

Carpet Beetle - Attagenus brunneus
Stow, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 11, 2006
Size: 5.5mm
When I reached behind the car seat to get my camera, I saw this beetle walking around on the back seat. I put it on the ground, photographed it, then let it go.
It looks like it might be one of the Dermestes.

Dermestidae: Attagenus unicolor
I think just a big black carpet beetle. Very small for a Dermestes.
