Dark North FL specimen - Phidippus regius - Female

She was collected early in the spring of '05 in North Florida near Gilchrist or Alachua Counties. Her clypeus has sparce scales and her carapace is void of any scales. This general color form is not uncommon, but these specimens usually have more carapace scales. Her prey is a Platycryptus.
