Hi Ken, looks like Tortricid
Could this be Hodges 2772 –
Phaecasiophora niveiguttana
– Labyrinth Moth? Carol's photo at the
MPG
shows a good dorsal view and the pinned moths show the white spot pretty well. I'm far from certain though.

I think you nailed it, Randy.
At least, I can't find a significant difference between my critter and the
P. niveiguttana
images in the Guide and on MPG--and I see a whole lot of similarities. Still, if you're not sure, then I'm not prepared to claim certainty either.
I'll sit tight with this for now. Maybe someone else will chime in.
