patterned fungus beetle - Toramus pulchellus
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA

Size: 1.4mm
I'm having a little trouble placing this nicely patterned fungus beetle. Initially, it looks like something in Cryptophagini (in Cryptophagidae of course). Suggestion welcome :)

from underside of board on the ground.

10x/0.25 210/- Nikon M Plan, on ~120mm extension (never tried that little before), 100 image Zerene P-Max stack
