Sawfly - deceased - Abia
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
May 15, 2011
Being away from home for a few weeks when this sawfly emerged didn't help, as you can see. I'm hoping the shape of the antennae may help in identification. Since the fly had dried, I didn't get an idea of the original size when it emerged.

Moved
Moved from Common Sawflies. I don't know if these photos of the deceased fly should be kept or not. Don't mind if they're frassed.
