Orange beetle on pickleweed -
Erynephala
Oyster Point Marina, San Mateo County, California, USA
May 29, 2011
Size: ~ 7 mm
I found this orange beetle on pickleweed on a Bay mud flat/beach. Might be frass... Chrysomelid?
