Megachile - Megachile mendica - female

Megachile - Megachile mendica - Female
Pulaski County, Kentucky, USA
May 28, 2011
Size: 11 mm
Found dead in car. Unfortunately, the head was mangled when I found it.

I ran through discoverlife key and ended up at M. mendica.

Moved

it does look like Megachile mendica
a female

thanks John
It has the cutting edge between the mandibular teeth mentioned in the key, but I was unsure because the damage to the head made judging the ocellar distances difficult.
