Elateridae: Ctenicera? - Agriotes fucosus
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
June 3, 2011
Size: Length ~ 10-12 mm
I was inspired to photograph this specimen because of the rosy hue on the lateral portions of the protonum. I'm guessing this specimen might be Ctenicera, but I'm not sure. I'm hoping for confirmation or correction on the genus. Thanks!

Moved from Beetles.

I was thinking A. fucosus too but dont have a lot of personal experience with that species (yet)--I think Tom is sending me some so I'll have vouchers to double-check!

Thanks, Blaine!
