Yay! That is exactly what it is!
Usually it is not so difficult.
Now there are some great photos that clearly show this species. The patterns of the dark hairs are characteristic for this species.

Now to find some other cooperative mosquito species ... that aren't biting me. I should be able to recognize myself now when a species is not this one.
