Explanation of Names
This is a species name we made up as a temporary holding place. We separated out the Enchenopa images that we took on Ptelea. Dr Hamilton is researching the correct name for this species.

Life Cycle
A year in the life of Enchenopa - 2006 - in northwest Chicago
May 14 - just about 1 mm with long hairy spines
May 20 - about 1.5 mm, long hair is gone
June 3 - 2 mm and growing a crest
June 14 - pushing 3 mm and getting a horn on their crest
