Size: 1.5 inch
Large numbers of these on grass near wetland. Ant lions are in the dunes, and I thought this was an antlion at first, but not sure now. One is a bit blue, one is a bit orange. Male/female?

Maybe Emerald Spreadwing? There is no image from NY though... (I'm not an expert)

but I wasn't sure, just hadn't seen this spread wing before. . . must be really cyclical by year, I've sample this field so often. First time there. Interesting. . .Thanks v belov!!! Wonder which species now, looks like emerald spread wing as above looks right.
