California Darner Dragonfly - Rhionaeschna californica - male - female

California Darner Dragonfly - Rhionaeschna californica - Male Female
Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, California, USA

I agree- California Darner
Blue-eyed darner males have blue dorsal thoracic stripes. California Darner does not. Also, the lateral thoracic stripes are just visible enough to say they match California Darner, whitish-very light blue and pinch or become thin toward the top. Not bright blue, straight, and wider toward top. Face is pale not blue, also aids in ID of California Darner.
