Small yellowish-white and brown striped caterpillar - Dichomeris

Size: 3/4"
Found around noon in a meadow of various long grasses and wildflowers. Head is glossy black, looks hard, with the thorax being a velvety-looking dark brown. There is a ring of small white dots just above the abdomen. I found it just beginning to stich together a leaf-tube. It will stand on its prolegs and wave its head around.

dunno but..
I mean to find out..I'm rearing thisun, which is quite similar. i think these are both tortrids
