Size: 30mm wingspan.
Came to black light trap. (live oak/chaparral habitat).

Caradrina multifera
, & 98.53% match to
Caradrina montana
.

C. multifera
differs (from
C. montana
) in having bolder markings, brownish spots in the subterminal area, and doesn't occur west of Manitoba/Minnesota (except for disjunct population in British Columbia). However, MPG

distribution map for
C. multifera
shows several records for California.
