Taphroscelidia linearis

Taphroscelidia linearis
Leesburg, Lee County, Georgia, USA
May 23, 2011
Size: 5.8mm
Came to lighted sheet. Have another from the 22nd @ 5.2mm. Great looking
beetle. There is only one species in FL, and I am assuming that the range
is or has extended to SW GA but was not observed previously. Don't know
if there is sufficient clarity on the tail to tell sex! Please advise if
this is an incorrect ID.
