Carabidae: Lebia? - Badister neopulchellus

Carabidae: Lebia? - Badister neopulchellus
Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
June 14, 2011
Size: Length ~ 9-10 mm
This specimen resembles BG images of Lebia, but the orange and black pattern on the elytra don't seem to be a good match for the archived images I looked at. Hmmm...is this Lebia? Thanks for any help! ;-)

Moved tentatively, per Peter Messer's hint
Moved from Subgenus Badister.

Thanks Peter and v belov!
Gosh, Badister is a genus that does not appear in any one of my four insect books! I reckon it's time to get a more recent book on beetles! Thanks, as always, for helping me to learn the name of one of our local beetles. ;-)
