Malthacus puberulus? - Dichelotarsus puberulus

Malthacus puberulus? - Dichelotarsus puberulus
Mt. Greylock summit, Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA
June 10, 2011
Size: ~7 mm
I think this is the same kind (may even be the same individual) as the other one, but just making sure.

Berkshire BioBlitz

Moved from Malthacus.

Moved from Beetles.

this one looks like #528134 (both female??)

i suspect they all may turn out to be puberulus, but the one i've placed there (male??) with little hesitation was a much better match to the type specimen (pale antennal bases and rather rough pronotum) -- may well be sexual dimorphism
