This was captured in a Malaise trap in a xeric area that was mostly scrubby flatwoods and sandhill habitats. If another angle or a closeup of a certain external structure would help with identification, please let me know.

Nice shot of the lobes, in combination with black color, I'm confident this is B. falli.

and thanks for the ID. The posterior tarsi didn't seem to have much, if anything, in the way of lobes if that matters at all.

yes, believe this is indeed Blauta. T think I can see membranous tarsal pads on the ventral shot. The dark color makes me think B. falli, but the tarsal pads look a little small. I'd be more comfortable confirming the species by examining the specimen, if possible, or compare it with material in FSCA.
