Glyphipterix quadragintapunctata
Raccoon Creek State Park, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 19, 2011
Any help with the identity of this moth is appreciated. It was found in cool moist woodland along a stream with a lot of Nettle in the area.

Moth Glyphipterix quadragintapunctata
Hi, Curtis - Amazing to read your description - I found this species on the same date 2013 (June 19) in just exactly the same situation (cool nettle patch along a creek). Only difference is I am in eastern PA near Reading. It's the only time I have found one in 20+ years of moth searching. I have also posted my photo.
