On Jacquemonti birch leaf. A Bronze Birch borer? Collected for further study. ID help appreciated.

Identity
After rechecking this image, looking closely at the abdominal apex of the ventral and lateral views, which I may not have looked at in 2011, and considering the coloring, in my opinion this is not
Agrilus anxius
, not even a member of that group. My reason is that there does not appear to be a pygidial projection. My advice about basing identifications on hosts now must be modified: Alone, it is not reliable.
