This spider is living in a corner of a room in my house, so I can try and get other views/details if I know what is needed for ID.

Moved from Spiders. Yes, I think this is a better choice. Good job with the dorsal shot.

Steatoda is correct
I'd like to see the dorsal pattern a little better, but I'd guess it's probably bipunctata.
