I think this is Oligocentria alpica, but I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks Maury. I'm fairly confident on this ID for 2 reasons. First, I took it as a specimen (see other pic). Second, the canyon I was in is loaded with Mahonia (Berberis) fremontii which is O. alpica's host plant.
