Unfortunately this scorpionfl
Unfortunately this scorpionfly cannot be determined without a microscopic examination of the male genital bulb. At this locality this insect might possibly be Panorpa banksi, P. submaculosa, P. maculosa, P. nebulosa, or P. acuta. Of these this insect is most likely Panorpa banksi based on the wing markings in the costal area.

Female Scorpionfly (Panorpa)

Panorpa
Thank you kind sir. Sure looks like P. banksi in Wings of Panorpa in the Mecoptera of Ontario and not so much the P. banksi in the Guide. Did scour the Panorpa images pages in the Guide to no real avail. Thanks again.
