decature, macon County, Illinois, USA
June 17, 2011
Size: typical tredecassini size
i found a male and a female with an orange pronotal coller and also orange on the mesatome inbtween the arches and on the female the orange was just infront of the pronotome and seems to cover all the mouth parts. i dont know if this is genetic or a simple evirment induced pigment defect during the molt? this could be a possible subspecies but its unlikly
