Black Slave-Maker Ant - Formica subsericea

Black Slave-Maker Ant - Formica subsericea
Radford, Virginia, USA
June 26, 2011
I'd like and ID, please, for this ant. Several were "tending" young critters on the back of a Helianthus leaf.
