Moved
Moved from Conotrachelus.

neat bug, man...
it may not look too peculiar, but with its non-costate elytra and thick schnobel it is eligible for new-to-BG status...
[hope i'm not off with genus; might turn out a Pheloconus]

Moved from Snout and Bark Beetles.

Micralcinus parvulus (Champion)
This is Micralcinus parvulus (Champion). Its one of the Conotrachelus look-alikes (along with Pheleconus) and is questionably distinct from Conotrachelus. In fact the species was originally described as Conotrachelus parvulus. Its a senior synonym of Micralcinus stehri Sleeper.
