Any idea what this species parasitizes? I've seen reference to Army Worm, anything else? This is a Holarctic species? Sorry, I really couldn't find much ecological/biogeographic information.

two hosts are reported:
Pseudaletia unipuncta
and
Coleophora pruniella
. I very much doubt the accuracy of the latter host record; for one thing, I doubt that the pupa of that microlep species is large enough for this ichneumonid to develop on.

Ichneumonid. There are some similar specimens in Ichneumoninae...
...but that's striclty a guess on my part. Dr. Carlson will be able to say for sure.
